The wheels were in good condition once they were cleaned up, but the rear tyre was devoid of tread, so I got a new 130/90 16 from my local bike mechanic/supplier. We were unable to get the damn tyre to seat so had to resort to putting a tube in. Who invented tubeless tyres?? I since had the same trouble with the front!
New rear wheel bearings were put in, and the brake calipers had new pistons and seals as the old ones were well corroded.
As already stated taper roller bearings were put in the steering head. The forks seemed to be in good shape, so were left alone.
